Local Church Needs (as of 8/3/25): If you want to bless a work of God in the community, here are some current opportunities
CHURCH A- Loganville/Youth, GA: A small warehouse church is in need of Live Streaming Audio equipment. Currently using main audio feed to stream which has no mix-down option to tailor the internet feed's audio which sounds flat and nothing like live feed. Suggested donations would be a used live feed setup or a decent overhead condenser mic which can capture the house-mix separately for the live-stream.
Sound Isolation Headphones (for mixing the livestream, typically cost $150-$325) they only have one person running the 2 mixes...
Need temporary LED stage lighting or upgrade so Gabriel can try to repair current failing lights.
Need other equipment to improve service quality; I can get details if anyone wants to impact this church's needs. (We just received a donation of speakers, an amplifier, and an EQ to help improve their sound!!! God is good! Streaming improvements and lighting loaners still needed)
CHURCH B- Monroe, GA:
3 or 4 Urinals for Men's Rooms,
2 wheelchair accessible bathroom sinks/counters for main restrooms,
drum mic kit,
youth ministry buildout (old 1800s chapel needs new side-door, carpet, renovations for safety and usability for children and teens),
Sanctuary LED Lighting replacement lighting and stage lighting.
Public ADA drinking fountain for foyer.
Supplemental funds for youth ministry/child min materials and weekly snacks till church can grow to support making a budget for the youth ministries.
Donuts donor for Sunday morning service or $30 week (there is a teenager using much of her paycheck to buy the donuts and snacks for children's services weekly which is great but is stressful for her. Church has no budget for this and serves low income people. While not a crucial offering, it does help bring children and low income families to the church.)
IsaYah 61 Ministries- Walton County, GA:
Outreach funds for feeding those in need while we share the Gospel plus other items below or just order them for us (Bible tracts, printed materials, evangelism training),
Basic New Testaments to give to homeless people and people we meet in the streets: example- Here's Hope bulk pack,
Give-away rain ponchos, emergency blankets, mosquito repellant packets, bug bite cream packets, head worn flashlights, alkaline AAA and AA batteries.
We are also looking for a battery powered portable PA system for doing outreach in downtown Monroe regularly and also for other street preaching events we partake it. It should have AUX, 2 Mics, 1 or 2 instrument inputs if possible and wheels to roll it but we can add them on afterwards if needed too!
CHURCH C- Lawrenceville, GA: A new church near downtown needs everything for Sunday worship service.
Professional Digital video camera for uploading to youtube,
a Digital Piano,
4 XLR microphone cables,
3 instrument cables (1/4in connectors),
2 Shure or Sennheiser vocal microphones (or other high quality),
2 music stands,
boom mic stands,
3 direct boxes,
an electric mesh type drum set (due to smaller space the rubber drums make too much tactile noise).
Possibly some stage lighting and a lighting controller could be helpful too.
A basic larger screened laptop with HDMI output.
They are also looking for a 55-60inch flat screen tv with wall mounting capabilities.
MULTIPLE CHURCHES and MINISTRIES-
Musicians & Worship Leaders:
Main worship leader (not sure if this is a paying position but likely) needed for a medium sized church off 81 & Youth Monroe area.
Street Outreach musicians- likely guitar and vocalists.
Stand-in worship leaders or musicians for small churches with absent staff musicians (churches usually pay $100-$400 per week for temp help depending on the position).
Volunteer Pianist, Vocalists, & drummer for Church C above.
We also would love to meet and know as many musicians and worship artists as possible for future collaborations, outreaches, jam sessions, and even possible recording efforts which might be similar to how Mav City started in ATL a few years ago. It may lead to great things for personal careers but more-so for God's Kingdom!
Food and Clothing Donations:
Across The Bridge in Lawrenceville can take usable mens and womens clothing for their clothing closet. Business attire as well as day-labor clothing.
The Fish Food Pantry in Monroe is almost always in need of non-perishable meat and peanut butter (maybe Jelly too) donations.
Restoration Food basket - please call
Shepherds Staff food pantry - please call
Vehicle Needs:
Isayah 61 is needing a 12 Passenger Van or even a minivan for taking youth, young adults, and homeless or car-less persons to stores, services, or ministries in the area.
We also started a vehicle donation program to raise money for the foster care programs.
We are also asking for any donations of 2 Pickup Trucks in working order to give to two separate individuals (one does scrap and junk removal, the other is an independent lawncare worker) who are willing to work hard and are worthy of such a donation. One is currently driving a semi functioning 30+yr old truck with only 2 gears and is working with that.
